Heath started Inky Jane Studios in 2009 to house their various artistic explorations.  They have shown at galleries, festivals, and stores around the Midwest, focusing on projects as diverse as photography, assemblage, collage, and painting.  Throughout it all they have maintained a constant antiquarian thread, inspired by objects, people, and stories of the past.  

Heath has a B.A. in Design and a Certificate of Design Psychology and has studied art history throughout Europe with an intensive at the Tate in London.  They have taught art techniques and art history at the preschool, elementary, and college level.

A century-old farmhouse on the border of Minneapolis serves as their home and studios (both art and music).  In addition to creating, they have been curating and organizing art festivals and gallery shows.
