Inky Jane Studios
Heather started Inky Jane Studios in 2009 to house her various artistic explorations. She has shown at galleries, festivals, and stores around the Midwest, focusing on projects as diverse as photography, assemblage, collage, and painting. Throughout it all she has maintained a constant antiquarian thread, inspired by objects, people, and stories of the past.
Heather has a B.A. in Design and a Certificate of Design Psychology and has studied art history throughout Europe with an intensive at the Tate in London. She has taught art techniques and art history at the preschool, elementary, and college level.
In addition to creating, she has been curating and organizing art festivals, gallery shows, and artist networking and educational events. She is the Founder and former Director of the Minnesota Artists Guild.
